What you need:
1lb ground beef
1 large onion diced
1 clove of clove minced
1 bag shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs
1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
1 egg beaten
1 jar of spaghetti sauce (or you can use my Italian tomato sauce recipe)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese(I like to use fresh)
18 jumbo pasta shells(cook according to package)
salt and pepper
What to do:
Cook shells according to package directions.
Meanwhile in a pan brown ground beef, garlic and onion.(drain fat completely, let cool)
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Combine meat, mozzarella cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper.
Pour tomato sauce into bottom of a oven safe dish covering the bottom with a quarter of the sauce.
Stuff the shells with meat mix, then place into sauced dish.
Pour remaining sauce over the shells.
Dust it with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or til the cheese has melted.
*You can do many differences to this recipe, the only thing I suggest is
when you put it in the oven you really don't have to make sure it
browns just make sure it is melted.
